How do I apply for library membership ?

  • All UiTM staff and students are automatically members of PTAR Libraries. Non members who wish to use the library may apply for external membership

 

How do I get into the library’s databases from home ?

  • Most of the databases subscribed by the Library accessible from outside the UiTM campus via EZAccess

 

What are online database ?

  • An online database is a bibliographic database. Bibliographic database allow you to search for journals articles and papers relating to a particular topic which have been published in a range of journals, papers, conference proceedings and other documents

 

How can I learn more about searching the online database ?

  • You can seek assistance from librarian on duty at the Reader's Advisory Desk, Reference Librarian or Faculty Liaison Librarian, attend Information Literacy Program classes conduct by the Library or refer to online guide available in each databases

 

What are the online database been use for Faculty of Accountancy ?

Rules & Regulations

 

  • Permission must be requested from the library staff for users to enter the non public areas of the library.
  • Prior permission from the Chief Librarian must be requested to use cameras and other recording devices in the library
  • Mobile phone should be on silent mode or switched off whilst in the library.
  • Bags, umbrellas and helmets are to be left outside the library. However, the library does not hold responsibility for any loss of belongings.
  • Undesirable and unruly behaviours which disturb or cause inconvenience to others are forbidden. Library staff have the authority to exclude anyone demonstrating such behaviour.
  • Eating, drinking or smoking in the library are strictly prohibited.
  • Vandalism and destruction of library's property is prohibited.
  • All rubbish must be thrown into rubbish bins provided.
  • Announcements will be aired 45 minutes before closing time.
  • Please observe silence in the library.
